Teaching steps

Step 1. Warm up

1) Sing a song: “How do you go to school?”

T:I go to school by bus. How do you go to school? By bus?

2) I’m very cold. It’s winter now.××,close the door,please.

3) Look at my/his/her new coat.

4) Let’s go to the supermarket.

5) What can you see in the classroom?

Step 2. Revision Ask and answer

1. T: Look, so many fruit.

T: Come here,××. What can you see on my desk?

S: I can see an apple.

T: Do you like apples?

S: Yes.

T: An apple?

S: Yes, please.

T: Here you are.

S: Thank you.

Ask another student to come to the blackboard.

T: An apple?

S: Yes, please.

T: Here you are.

S: Thank you.

Teach: Yes,please.

T:Look,what’s this?

S:It’s an orange.

T:An orange?

S1:Yes,please/No,thanks you.

Teach: No,thank you/thanks.

3. Practice in pairs.

T: I want to buy something to eat. Who can help me?

S1: An orange?

T: Yes, please.

S1: Here you are.

T: Thank you.

S2: An orange?

T: No, thanks.

S3: A mango?

T: No, thanks. /Yes, two please.

T: Now let’s go to the supermarket.( one acts a shop assistant, one acts a customer.)

Step 3. Have a rest.

Chant: A mango, a mango? No, no, thanks. A peach, a peach? Yes, yes, please.

Step 4. New words

1. T: Oh, I’m hungry now. Look, where’s it? It’s KFC. Let’s go to KFC. There are a lot of food there.

T: Let’s go to KFC. OK?

S:OK, Let’s go.

T: So many food. I like them.

2. T: Look, what’s this? T: It’s a hamburger.

T: Read “a hamburger”. (Read one by one) add:two hamburgers

3. T: A hamburger?

S: Yes, please.

T: Here you are .

S: Thank you.

4. A hamburger? (Give this hamburger to your friend or your teacher.) Yes, two please. Here you are. Thank you.

5. Teach other three words in the same way.

6. Play a game: T says the word,Ss show the correct picture.

7.Chant.

An egg? An egg?

Yes, please. Yes,please.

An ice cream? An ice cream?

No, thanks. No, thanks.

Some cakes? Some cakes?

Yes, please. Yes, please.

Some hamburgers? Some hamburgers?

No, thanks. No thanks

Step 5. Consolidation

T: Now boys and girls, let’s buy food in KFC /in the supermarket. T: Let’s go to KFC./ the supermarket.

S: OK. But how?

T: By bike.

S: OK. Let’s go.

T: A hamburger?

S: No, thanks.

T: Some cakes?

S: Yes, please.

T: Here you are.

S: thank you.

Then Ss act in groups.

Step6 End Sing “Good-bye”
